April 4th DDoS attack

A massive DDoS attack against this pool started yesterday around 10:20 UTC. Some other Litecoin pools have also reported attacks.

All miners who still haven't set up automatic failover to other pools and/or to solo mining are encouraged to do so as soon as possible. This is ridiculously easy to do with cgminer: you just need to specify additional URLs and credentials in the arguments.

For the security of the network, running a local P2Pool node as a fallback option is also highly advisable.
